Our last full day! We got up early so that we could find a place to park at the Grand Prismatic Spring Overlook trailhead that also extends to the Fairy Falls trail. Apparently, it was an almost 6 mile hike for C and MCB. They came back pretty tired but got some amazing pictures.
Oh, on our way from the campsite, we had to make a quick stop for a picture of the Roaring Mountain.
We then headed over to the ickiest and stinkiest place in the park, the Mud Volcano Thermal Area.
Then we drove down to Yellowstone Lake to make sure the road was open for our exit the next day. Also had to make another quick stop at the falls for a few more pictures.
