September 6, Day 1:
- Quick trip in and out on our first day in the area.
- Old Faithful and Geyser Hill
September 7, Day 2:
- Long drive to Canyon Campground via Chief Joseph Scenic Highway to the Northeast entrance and then around through Mammoth and Norris with a winter storm rolling through.
September 8, Day 3:
- Woke up to icicles and snow.
- C’s favorite Bison photo.
- Visited Norris Geyser Basin and Gibbon’s Falls.
September 9, Day 4
- Yellowstone River Falls and Mammoth Hot Springs
September 10, Day 5:
- Grand Prismatic Spring, Upper Geyser Basin near Old Faithful
- Saw a male elk and a coyote
September 11, Day 6:
- Grand Prismatic Spring overlook and Fairy Falls hike
- Mud Volcano Thermal Area
- Yellowstone Lake
- Quick stop at the falls again
September 12, Day 7:
- Yellowstone Falls and Lake again
- Return to Denver, 10 hour drive
