
C was feeling the need for the beach and after a pretty cheap week felt comfortable with splurging a bit. J called the Red Coconut RV Park and we were lucky to get in for a week. Apparently, spaces opened up because Canadians couldn’t make it down for the winter due to COVID. Once we settled in, we decided to stay for a couple more weeks, but had to change sites. No big deal, but apparently it’s a common thing that the regulars call ‘The Red Coconut Shuffle.’
C walked the beach many mornings, collected a few shells and sand dollars, as well as capturing some pictures of sea life.
A recent red tide caused an abundance of sand dollars. C came back from one walk with 16 sand dollars. She kept 5 and gave away the rest.
