It was a bit of a long drive from New Smyrna Beach down to Lazy Lakes Campground, partly due to having to stop at Chick-fil-a to stock up on diet lemonade to feed C’s addiction. Saturday, we wandered over to Key West and I was lucky to find a parking spot while C&J had breakfast at La Grignote and walked up and down Duval street. C came back raving about the Lobster Benedict.

They wandered over by the ‘southernmost point’ to see a crowd of people waiting to have their picture taken. After they got back, we went over to Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park. They decided to get up early the next morning to get my picture at the ‘southernmost point’ then chilled out all day at the state park.

Tracking Florida State Park Annual Pass Usage: $89 – (2 x $4) – $81
Also had to drive through this intersection:

Maxine enjoyed the sunset while C&J did some grocery shopping.

They were worn out and didn’t feel like cooking so we found the Square Grouper to refuel C&J.

We had a nice view each morning.
