We pulled into Capital Reef National Park and stayed for a few days and a little hiking.

C’s had this place on her list for years after discovering it was a filming location for Galaxy Quest. She couldn’t understand why nobody knew what she was talking about when she asked if they had seen any Beryllium Spheres.

After a morning at Arches, we drove through Canyonlands. C took a short hike, but the scenery was amazing!

C was tired, so we headed back to the camp site in Green River.

We parked at Green River State Park for two nights. Saturday morning, October 30, C woke up early and decided it was time to head over to Arches National Park in time to see the sun rise.

Arrived in Salt Lake City on September 20, 2020 with no real plans for the next steps. A ‘stress fracture’ caused us to stay a little longer than expected. Here’s a week by week summary.

Decided to continue the journey by heading towards Salt Lake City at a leisurely pace. I wasn’t sure we would get back on the road after C discovered the hot springs.

We did finally leave and spent a night in Evanston, WY before arriving in Salt Lake City, UT.

After the Yellowstone trip, we needed to recharge and hung out at Bear Creek Lake Park.

Looking back at our Yellowstone week, C picked out some of her best pictures.

We passed through the Grand Teton National Park on our mad dash back to Denver so M.C.B. could make it to work on Monday.

On our final day, we left our campsite, made few more stops on our way down to the Grand Teton Lodge campground just outside of the south entrance.

We stopped at a scenic spot for the girls to have lunch. I was not 100% comfortable with that rock hanging off the side of the road!
