Forgot to mention a few other highlights. We drove into Long Key State Park to check it out ‘for future reference.’ Also stopped at Curry Hammock State Park, but they were ‘at capacity’ so we couldn’t get in.

Spent some time in John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park while J finished up his work that day. C walked around a bit, called her mom from the middle of the mangrove, and was tempted by the snorkeling tours. But, the conditions were a bit rough and we had to get moving.

That night we parked at a Harvest Host site near Homestead, Florida. The squash blossoms on the zucchini plants bloomed in the morning.
Stopped at Davidson of Dundee to fulfill C’s mom’s request for some orange marmalade.
Returned to Magnolia Park for a few nights with a quick visit to see R at the University of Central Florida. Then down to Kissimmee to check S&K into their condo. Had a few visitors.
Left the park pass with S&K and hoping they make good use of it. Then, we’ll see if C’s sister makes use of it.
