Woke up to this view … little did we know what we were getting ourselves into.
Pulled out and took the long route up to the Northeast entrance to Yellowstone. We took the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway from Cody, WY. I’m sure it is very scenic however all we mostly saw fog and snow. We spent a lot of time getting to the Canyon Campground since one of the roads was closed.
We finally got to Canyon Campground, checked in, then went to fuel up. This guy thought the truck was nice and warm.
The rest of me was pretty cold and snowy.
We finally got parked. Whew!
This was my first test at keeping C warm on a cold night. I did good if I do say so myself!
